Join Dr. Richard Chua, fellowship-trained spine surgeon with Banner - University Medicine, for "Back Pain Explained," an informative community talk on Thursday, February 5, at SaddleBrooke TWO.

Attendees will learn about spine anatomy, common causes of back pain, innovative treatment options that can provide relief, and what's ahead in the future of spine care and technology.

About Speaker:
Richard Chua, MD, offers advanced spine care through surgical and non-surgical techniques, using the latest technology to deliver precise, personalized treatment tailored to each patient. Dr. Chua serves as Director of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery and Robotics and Medical Director for Banner - University Medicine's Comprehensive Spine Program-the only Joint Commission-Certified spine program in Arizona. He is also a Professor of Neurosurgery and Director of the Minimally Invasive Spine and Robotics fellowship program at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson. Dr. Chua's clinical and research interests include robotic-assisted, image-guided spinal fusion, outpatient lumbar fusion, minimally invasive spine surgical techniques and cervical motion preservation surgery. He has established two robotic spine surgery programs in Arizona and frequently hosts domestic and international surgeons. In addition to his neurosurgical practice, Dr. Chua serves as a frequent faculty and committee member for the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. He is Founder of the Nepal Spine Foundation and annually travels to Nepal to teach and perform spine surgery at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.
